This 5 layer line while ensuring a thin skin layer of property polymers and a thick core layer of inexpensive materials, offers enough versatility for processors to produce films that comply to difficult industry demands with specifications that provide a competitive edge to its customers' business, both in terms of diverse film properties and of course at lower costs. The film capabilities with a 5 layer are significant when compared to a conventional 3-layer alternative.

7 layer blown film line is equipped with state-of-the-art Cylindrical Spiral Die. Short polymer flow passages decrease residence time which is of great benefit when processing thermally sensitive materials, reduces polymer degradation and quick changeover of the materials.

7 layer blown film lines are customized based on films to be produced. 7 layer blown film lines are available with advanced automation features like gravimetric blending and dosing, extrusion Control, non-contact type IBC system, automatic thickness control (with non-contact capacitive sensor), fully automatic surface winder suitable for different applications. ABA & AB Blown Film

One extruder for both A-layer, which is smaller, operates slower and only delivers 30%-40% new plastic resins,

The other extruder for middle layer, which is a layer that uses recycled plastic resins and CaCo³ to reduce the costing.

ABA layer blown film line significantly reduces the cost of raw material while keeping plastic film quality at a high level. Besides reducing amount of raw material, another advantage of ABA plastic film extrusion machine is that the produced 3 layer film is 30% stronger than mono layer.

It is a meant for typical application like shopping bags with a finished printing surface on both the sides adding value to the end product.

With a slight change in the die block design, one can manufacture 3 layer blown film line in a conventional 2 layer co–extrusion line. The output produced will be a three layer film with top and bottom layer of the same material and a different center layer and if an application requires only 2 layers – e.g. 2 colored bags, one can change the die block and transform A/B/A co-ex to A/B co-ex.

Bio-Degradable / Compostable Film

 

  • Bio degradable plastics are plastics degraded by microorganisms into water, carbon dioxide (or methane) and biomass under specified conditions. To guide consumers in their decision-making and give them confidence in a plastic’s biodegradability, universal standards have been implemented, new materials have been developed,
  • Biodegradable refers to the ability of materials to break down and return to nature.
  • Compostable materials are similar to biodegradable materials, as they are both intended to return to the earth safely. However, compostable materials go one step further by providing the earth with nutrients once the material has completely broken down
  • PLA (polylactic acid) is typically made from the sugars in corn starch, cassava or sugarcane. It is biodegradable, carbon-neutral, and edible.
